They are doing a count down from the date Barack Obama said he would be interviewed by fox news, until the date he actually keeps that promise.

 well, this is the channel that has Bill O’Riley: The man who was astonished that African Americans used utensils, and were civilized when they ate in a restaurant…he couldn’t believe how reserved everyone was, and they could use silverware and cups properly….at a Soul Food Restaurant in Harlem!!! Lunacy & The PTA

Many of you may not know that PTAs are serious business.

There is National PTA, who is the big Kahuna. Then, every state has a main office some with Paid staff, some just have volunteers that run the state office…..then there are the State Board members, and the Regional Directors, then the Councils, then the Local PTAs at the schools……..One HUGE Umbrella.

But what alot of people don’t know, unless they are involved in PTA; PTA people are petty, form clicks, get really into TITLES when they are elected PTA president, Treasurer, etc. and have schizophrenic tendencies.

They have this sense of entitlement, like they are owed something. REALITY CHECK: You are not the head of a major corporation, so get your head out of your ass, stop gossiping and do what the PTA is here for: Advocating for children!!!

I am a member of my local PTA, but I donate extra money just so they don’t call me and ask me to do anything, because I don’t have time for the bureaucracy, and the pettiness that they have to offer.

There have been incidents where a PTA member was angry about not being able to celebrate Christmas in the schools so ” Damn the Jews and the Muslims,” When 75% of the PTA were of Non-Christian faith- some Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, etc.When they heard this, they didn’t want to be involved with that PTA , and who suffers? The Children. You can have a “Winter Celebration” just don’t call it christmas and don’t exchange gifts for petes sake! There have been incidents where Local board members get pissed off because the PTA doesn’t want to use the Fund-raising Company that this particular board member owns, because it is a conflict of interest…so that person wants to resign. They get into shouting matches at Legislative events with congressmen and senators who oppose bills that will help the education system, they gossip and spread rumors……….yet wonder why people don’t want to join PTA!

The problem with so many organizations is, they lose sight of what is important, and get hung up on the political and personal agendas….and forget what they are really working for.

I used to Love when My mom was a PTA member, and I loved being involved in the beginning…its more than just doing fundraisers: PTAs purchase Jungle Gyms for school playgrounds so children can have fun at recess ( for the schools that still have recess), they contact state legislature to advocate for the good will of children, trying to get them to endorse certain policies, and educated them on how it will benefit the children, Many State PTAs have Need based scholarships for low-income students who are accepted into college, and other programs that involve the community that benefit children’s education and safety. Many PTAs sponsor field trips if the school lacks the funding.

But now, it seems like all is lost and they are more concerned that they have there sparkly little “PTA President” Lapel pin along with the matching address labels and making sure their chums get positions on the PTA board- Treasurer, Secretary…etc. so they can make all the decision sand take advantage of their little PTA Authority in a “I am more holy than thou” kind of way.

Its really ridiculous to think , with some of the attitudes many PTA members have, that they are actually in charge of raising children.

And society wonders why children are getting dumber every year………………Take a look at the Parents now-a-days!

Why I hate Music

 Music has taken over people’s brains! I’m so sick of this stupidity! People are so lost, so confused, they think they’re actually “feeling” an artist’s music, when all they see is their style and their looks. They see that along with the music, and become consumed into a lie…

Ignorance is bliss and people are having fun being blind…

I don’t want these two in the white house again.  Bush/Clinton/Bush/ Clinton (possibly) Give someone else a chance! Not to mention Hillary has been trying to avoid Ethics reform in Washington, because it will affect her bank account…money from special interests won’t be flowing in like it used to.

1. She voted for No Child Left Behind

2. Voted for the War

3. Served on the Board for Wal-Mart about 6 years or more…yet so many Unions are endorsing her….( see YouTube, and look for the story Good Morning America did about her serving on Wal-Mart’s Board)

4. Sick of her throwing her experience as First Lady around like that qualifies her to be a president. Sure she has experience, but experience doesn’t mean you can be a good president.

5. She’s not as Liberal as people think. Lets not forget her roots! She was a Goldwater girl(albeit a long time ago) and he was very similar to Ron Paul(don’t get me started on the romanticizing of Ron Paul!) he thought government should stay completely out of our lives….FOR EXAMPLE: He was against the Civil Rights act because he thought government shouldn’t get involved….ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I could go on forever about that but lets get back to Hillary. She never once stood up for workers right to organize or fair wages,Health Care,etc. while on the board of Wal-Mart….she did however speak up a little about women in the workplace and apparently she wasn’t that effective because there is a huge lawsuit against Wal-Mart with around 1.5 million women suing them for equal opportunities and equal treatment. Hillary also has accepted large sums of money from the following sources: Lobbyist, criminals that Bill Clinton pardoned as he was leaving the white house, groups of people and businesses that have received ear marks from her(they also are giving loans to her brothers…and phony jobs.) Barack Obama is a constitutional scholar/teacher, civil rights lawyer,community organizer AND HAS MORE EXPERIENCE AS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL!

6. Unlike Obama, who gets along with most Republicans in Washington, and is able to get things done because of his ability to get along with people in Washington….Republicans hate her. She won’t be able to get anything done because they will go against everything she tries to do inspite of her (and Bill.)

Edwards was my favorite…but since he is no Longer in the Race, I am going to vote for Obama.

one more note about Obama vs. Hillary:

He opposed the war in Iraq when it wasn’t popular to do so….whereas Hillary Clinton did not.She voted for it and has failed to explain why ever since….she didn’t even bother to read the National Intelligence Estimate!!! She only started speaking out(not that convincingly I might add) when the war became very unpopular. He did it in the middle of a Senate race….he spoke the truth when it wasn’t a good political move but he did it because HE HAS THE LEADERSHIP,INTELLIGENCE AND FORESIGHT and that is why he (if people get involved, take action and don’t let this opportunity pass us by) will take the oath of office(WITH HIS HAND ON A BIBLE….HE IS CHRISTIAN NOT MUSLIM… IT SHOULDN’T MATTER ANYWAY, BUT HE IS A CHRISTIAN) in January of 09 as the next president of the United States.

 

I am so done with Hillary Clinton…I almost voted for her until I did my research, then I switched to Edwards, but he dropped out.

I can’t believe how dirty she has been in this campaign, and wants to bitch and complain about how the Media is attacking her; Could it be because you feel like you are entitled to be president of the United States??? Her and Bill act as though they deserve it more than anyone else, and how dare someone in the same party run against them…THE FUCKING NERVE OF THEM!

I can’t believe that she even went as far as to say that John McCain had more experience to be President…and just basically stabbed her fellow party member in the back, and sided with a republican…CAN YOU FUCKING BELIEVE THAT!!!

I swear, if Americans aren’t smart enough to do research on their candidates, and just vote for a dumb CUNT because her husband was a decent president, then I am ashamed to call myself an American! How stupid can people be!!! So just because John McCain was a prisoner of war, he is an expert on Foreign Policy?? Seriously?!!! I respect John McCain for all he has been though, but just because he was a P.O.W. doesn’t qualify him to make major Foreign Policy decisions.  That’s just as Ridiculous as Hillary Clinton saying ” I sat in on alot of Foreign Policy briefings” so that qualifies her??? Are you kidding me? I wish America would wake the hell up!

Why I hate my boyfriend…….

It has become very complicated over the past year.

We have been together for 2.5 years, and in the past 10 months….things have become more tense. In the past 10 months, we have had GOOD sex about 4 out of the 6 times we have had sex.

I feel duped! When we first got together, he bragged about how he enjoyed communicating, how he loved to try new things, how he loved being sensual and romantic…blah blah blah. He used to help do the laundry and cleaning around the house when we first moved in together, we even slept in the same bed without him complaining about my snoring or my hogging of the covers.

I feel like I have been lied to! He takes medication for his Bipolar disorder, but the only why I know that is because I would sneak and write down all the names of the prescriptions and look it up on web-MD. He doesn’t talk to me about anything that is stressing him out, yet takes it out on me. If his decisions didn’t effect me, I wouldn’t have a problem but when we get a knock at the door, and its someone handing you a “Notice of Foreclosure” and you don’t tell me when I live in the same home with you…….That REALLY pisses me of, because you jeopardize me, my daughter and my fucking dog! Then you want to get mad because I looked to see what this “paperwork” was…um HELL-FUCKING-O!!!

I can’t remember when we actually did something fun together, we have dinner at the same restaurants every-time we decide to go out to eat…so much for trying new things right?

He is “still in love with me, and wants to be with me,”- his words…but I feel like I have a shitty roommate at this point. We haven’t slept in the same bed since……the summer I think.Doesn’t that give mixed messages?

He complains I am not supportive….how can I be supportive, when I don’t know what the fucking problem is! I mean really…..Men, if your girlfriend always said nothing is wrong and doesn’t want to talk about what is troubling her…..then she complains that you aren’t being supportive, wouldn’t that confuse you?

 I love him…but my feelings are slowly changing. I feel numb when he touches me, and that is IF he touches me. I have not changed at all since we first started dating, yet he has done a full 360. I have done my investigating : checking his email, text messages, phone records…and he isn’t cheating or seeing someone else. I understand the stress, yet that is no excuse to treat me like I don’t fucking exist when I am not the cause for your stress.

I am just really frustrated at this point, and I don’t know what to do. I expressed how I felt months ago, yet nothing has changed…but being that I am not the nagging type and I hate arguing, I refuse to bring it up to him again, and I act as if nothing is wrong with our relationship, because if I talk about it…I am ” Being dramatic and sensitive,” which is bullshit because I hardly ever bring it up…and I don’t get emotional talking about it.

I thought my previous relationships where bullshit…but it seems like the more I put into a relationship….the less I get back….I don’t understand it, I always end up with the shit bags for a boyfriend. I am confident and I carry myself with respect, I don’t nag and complain all the time, I am a very encouraging person, I am very attractive, I work and go to school, I am a good mother, I am very compassionate and care about other people and do what I can to help the less fortunate………so why do I keep getting the short end of the stick??? I’m not into the whole ” good girl, bad guy” thing, so I don’t know what the deal is.

I guess now is a great time to become celibate, and be single…because it looks like thats all that is in my future for the relationship bit.

Time For Change

 For the past 2 months, I have been trying to find a blog community where I feel I belong.

I have A.D.D. when it comes to blogging. Over the past 8 years, I have been a Loyal livejournal blogee, but for some reason…ever since they stopped requiring people have a referral code to join, it isn’t as appealing to me anymore there are more and more people who have no postings of substance, that continuously add me as a friend ( and unlike Myspace, you cannot deny their requests)…and after reading the posts of some of the people who have added me, I feel like—why?

Why post my innermost thoughts when the only people who are reading are posting about the latest celebrity gossip, or the people whose only concerns are who said what, who is doing what, how much they hate their life, and what guys they slept with on that long drunk weekend they took with their girlfriends.

Is wordpress different? We shall see
